Carvoeiro has its own beautiful beach area right in the centre of town, and if you want a bit of night life then this is the place! Carvoeiro boasts a huge range of restaurants, bars, interesting shopping and with its own post office, banks, car-hire, exchange bureaus and markets, Carvoeiro ensures that you'll have everything you need available locally.

For the golfer, there are courses on both sides of town and as Quinta do Rosal is central to over twenty courses along the Algarve coast, you’ll always be spoilt for choice.

Alternatively, make Quinta do Rosal your holiday base and tour the Algarve! Cape St. Vincent (Europe’s most south-westerly point) is an hours drive west, the Spanish border an hour east. Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, is only 2½ hours drive north along the new motor way.

Fifteen minutes to the north lies the historic town of Silves, sitting astride the river Arade with its castle with Roman and Moorish history - a must to visit.

With so many things to do and see in the Algarve, you might find that a month here is not enough!
